Are you feeling stuck?

Do you feel like something is missing? Have you tried making various changes but feel like it’s not “working”? One Great Life Counseling can help you. Whether you are looking for individual help or want to improve a relationship, I want to help.

We all get this One Great Life. It is too precious to spend time feeling stuck or unfulfilled. Maybe you are a mother who feels overwhelmed and anxious despite all your best efforts to “do it all”. Maybe you are in a marriage that feels okay but not great. I want to help you use your inner strengths and resources to live One Great Life.

I believe that everyone has the ability within them to change and overcome life’s difficulties. Operating from this core belief, I strive to create an environment of empathy and compassion where you will feel safe and cared for. I couple this with various theoretical frameworks to meet each client, family, or couple’s unique needs.

I have wanted to be a therapist since I was a young child. My career started in accounting - yes, accounting - but after some time as a CPA for a public accounting firm, I realized I was in the wrong place. Flash forward approximately ten years, I am now able to pursue my life’s purpose of helping people. My life journey and family system has definitely helped bring me to this point, but many of my clients talk about how they appreciate the nonjudgmental support I provide. I believe that this is one of the things that sometimes sets me apart from other providers. I find great joy in helping clients gain insight and develop the skills and confidence to use their innate strengths to create a more fulfilling life.

My areas of interest and expertise include working with people who experience anxiety, depression, family of origin issues, attachment and parenting challenges, maternal mental health, communication difficulties, and relationship issues. I enjoy working with adult individuals (age 19+) and couples.
